Dream a Day: Day 6

My newest series, that’s still in progress, is The Conception and Sensation of Time. Each image in the series is based on a dream that I actually had. What each dream is about isn’t exactly necessary for the overall concept of the body of work, however, just for you curious souls, I present to you “Dream a Day,” in which each day I show an image or 2 and tell you the crazy dream I had that inspired it.

I am driving at night. No one is around. Just me and so many red lights. I try desperately to stop but my breaks won’t work. I glide forward no matter what I try. I turn the wheel, driving through the grass. I come to a stop. I try again. I can’t stop. I run another red light, spinning out in the intersection. For hours I am stuck, spinning and swerving and anything but breaking. I am upset, scared, desperate.
