Color Your World – Sky Blue

The Color your World challenge will run January through April, for 120 days, with a new Crayola color topic posting each day. Join in daily, or post at your leisure.

Enter your photos, drawings, quotes, poems, stories, anything, as long as it is inspired by the color of the day.

Since this is a daily challenge, I will not have time to compile a link list daily for participant entries, however, (1) tag your post #cyw or #coloryourworld so others can follow along in the reader, (2) share your link in the comment section of each color post and (3) sign up on the home page. When you fill out the form on the home page, a link to your blog will be added at the bottom of that post – that way other participants can find all your challenge posts.

      1. What a cool idea! I may give that a try at some point.

By the way, I got the reverse lens thing, the one that lets the lens and camera keep talking to each other. It was my plan to try it out this weekend, but that hasn’t worked out yet. Today was a rainy day. Thanks for your suggestions and help along the way. :)
        Have a blessed day!

              1. Thank you. Too bad we can’t save up all this extra water for the times the droughts are here. Parts of the area are flooded right now. Our yard is a swamp and the immediate neighbor’s yard looks like lakefront property. But, we’re all okay, just wet. :)
                Have a blessed evening.

                  1. Yes, so far we are able to get out of the house and go into our little town. We couldn’t make it into the city for David’s appointment this morning, though. It hasn’t gotten to the level of last May’s flooding yet, but one of the local rivers is almost 2 feet above flood stage. The main river is a quarter mile from our house.

The campus where our oldest daughter goes to school in the city is flooded even worse than here. She slipped and hurt her wrist in the water there, but is okay other than that. So long as she can stay in her dorm, she should be okay. No water has come into her building yet, thank goodness.

The last report that I saw had it raining every day for the next week, no sunny days until Saturday and Sunday.

                    1. Oh gosh. At least you’re all safe. I hope her wrist heals up soon. And the end of the rain I’m sure will be a delightful sight. This weekend can’t come soon enough.

                    2. Most definitely! Thank you. She’s had one injury upon another with her wrists over the years, including breaking one arm completely through both the radius and the ulna right at the growth plates near the wrist. She’s a trooper, though, and keeps on going.

Sunday is supposed to be a sunny day and me and my camera cannot wait!

                      Have a blessed day. :)
