February Check In

Ah updates. Boring probably, but I feel that those of you who have known me through this space for quite a few years now may want to know what’s up.

Firstly, I’ve dropped the ball on daily posting, and challenge links, I know. I plan to get the challenge posts updated, and return to at least a few time weekly posting here soon.

For about 5 months now I’ve been dealing with a B-12 deficiency. Only I didn’t know that until about a month ago. I won’t go into too much detail, but overall my levels are improving, but as they do, and my body repairs itself, I feel even worse. Most of the neurological symptoms I was experiencing have dissipated, but they have been replaced by intense fatigue. That fatigue, among other things has killed my motivation, and my free time.

I’m doing what I can and taking care of myself in the mean time. Today’s been a good day, or a bit better at least, and I’m hoping that’s a sign of further improvement on the horizon.

Thanks as always for bearing with me.

P.S. I’m liking the title of this post. Maybe I’ll do monthly check ins with you all, since I typically use very few words here.

  1. So sorry to hear you’ve been going through so much. Hang in there–we’re praying for you! I’m glad to hear you’re getting better. :) Thank you for the wonderful blog and prompts, and don’t worry for a minute about taking things slow. I think we can all identify with that.

  2. Sorry to hear that you’re struggling right now, Jennifer. Happy that you have found the source and can treat it. I’m praying for a speedy recovery for you. Take care of yourself and don’t worry. We’ll still be here! 😻🙏🏻👍

  3. Take good care of yourself, Jennifer. Don’t worry about us. We will keep posting to your challenges. I love the 120 colors challenge and you have laid it out so we can easily follow it. :)

  4. I completely understand. Your health comes first. I too have had Vitamin B deficiencies. Mine had to do with going through Menopause. For a while I was taking B12 Vitamin shots. When I can’t get to the clinic I take liquid B vitamins. I have trouble swallowing pills. As women we go through a lot. Please continue to invest in yourself and improving your overall health. You have my support. God Bless. Grace, Peace & Blessings.
