Your World and the Art you Make of it

“I don’t ever want to tell you that there’s one set way to do anything, because if it works for you, that’s the rule.” – Bob Ross

Art is a means of expression. A language. A way of telling a story. Of telling your story.

You have full control of the canvas, box, board, wall, whatever, that’s in front of you. You can shape it, mold it, design it, to suit whatever you envision. Let your soul pour onto the page, whatever your page is. And don’t be afraid of doing something wrong. There is no wrong in artistic expression, as long as it’s true to you.

Maybe you’ll create something you never want to show anyone, but you got out what you needed to say. Maybe you’ll create something you want to show everyone, but they get something from it you didn’t put in. And that’s okay, because they got something from it in their own way.

Make things. Make beautiful things. Make ugly things. Make things with meaning and don’t stop.

What story are you going to tell?
