Ballagaraidh: Astronaut

I was going to use one of my Monochrome images for this, but Manatee strikes me as a bit more blue grey.

  1. Oh I really like your expression of this color, I think it was a great choice not to go monochrome. I also like the “action” of this photo. It fills me with questions. How did you do this? What is the story behind this scene? Not that you HAVE to answer these questions of course, just sharing. :D Nice work as always!

    1. Thank you so so much! Clear slime with iridescent glitter as the ground, transparency film being sprayed with water in the foreground, a 2 cm tall astronaut in the middle, and glitter scrapbook paper as the background :) This image is part of a series I made titled “Ballagaraidh,” a word from the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows meaning “The awareness that you are not at home in the wilderness.” Thank you for asking!
