So this may be cheating a bit. Today I’m not posting a photo, rather a simple graphic I made in Photoshop, illustrating a quote about being disconnected (the opposite of today’s theme).
“The silence depressed me. It wasn’t the silence of silence. It was my own silence. I knew perfectly well the cars were making noise, and the people in them and behind the lit windows of the buildings were making a noise, and the river was making a noise, but I couldn’t hear a thing. The city hung in my window, flat as a poster, glittering and blinking, but it might just as well not have been there at all, for the good it did me.” – Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar
I’m also submitting this post to the Pixel Prose Challenge :)
A unique combination. The graphics perfectly complement the stark words.
Thank you so much!
Special words, special skyline, special colors: it’s an emotion around. Great.

Thank you so much!
Great work. 😍
Thank you :)
Now that is just brilliant! Welcome, and thank you for your entry to the Pixel Prose challenge. Love your creativity Jennifer. :)
Thank you so much. I’ve been meaning to enter for awhile. I love when text and images can be put together to make a whole new piece of art :) Thank you so much for hosting.
Me too :). You’re welcome, It’s a real pleasure for me to host the challenge, & I love exploring all the different forms of poetry. :D
A perfectly good response to the connect theme. Working in a photo program is a large part of photography. Go for it. Plath is one of my favorite poets.
Thank you very much!
Like your idea and your words :) and for bucking the system lol!
haha thanks
