Welcome to the fourth week of the Weekly Weather challenge.
Every Saturday I’ll post a new blog with the weather-based topic for that week. Post your contribution (poem, photo, illustration, story, or any other artistic vision) to your blog and share your link in a comment or pingback to that week’s topic post here. Make sure to tag your post #weeklyweather so that others can find your post in their reader. Have fun!
**This challenge alternates with Color your World and will therefore run May through December, taking a break January through April.

In an attempt to emulate icicles I used poly cement model glue and dripped it down clear thread. I think the effect worked pretty well.
Thank you to those of you who’ve contributed.
Let me know if I’ve missed your contribution in the list below and please help me spread the word!

Nice effect!
Heh. In the film industry, we use hot glue guns to create spider web. The trick is to blow a concentrated air stream below the nozzle which spews out the hot glue in gossamer threads. Very effective.
I wonder if something similar might work for icicles? Though, I suppose, you’d be exchanging sticky fingers for singed ones. ;)
I’ve totally used hot glue guns for spider webs. Though just the ones that form when pulling. Nice idea.
Not hard to make one for yourself.
“hot glue gun spider web shooter” Google that. :)
lol okay
It’d be interesting to see how well the scale would transfer to miniature… could be really creepy! ;)
Well someone’s definitely profiting off this: https://www.facebook.com/odditymall/videos/1099884453430757/
