Nice interview! It’s nice to get to know a bit more about you. Interesting that you sometimes struggle with your voice as your work with emotional miniature scenes speak clearly to me. I feel like I can see you more now through your art and look forward to witnessing your growth as an artist and person. :) Thanks for opening up your little world (pun intended). ;)
Thank you for reading and commenting. I don’t share a lot about myself on my blog, as I speak through my pictures I suppose :) I really appreciate that Michaella presented me the opportunity to share.
I’m so glad to hear that my images speak to you. Thank you for that. Sometimes I feel that for others to understand my full intent with my work, they’ve had to, to some extent, experience the feelings I’m trying to get across. For example, many people just seem to see the cute miniatures, and not the emotions they’re representing.
The interview had a sort of familiarity for me as I have gotten a good sense of you through your photos. Sometimes it’s hard to know just how much to share about one’s self through blogging. It’s an interesting balance that’s needed for sure. And you’re right it takes empathy to understand and recognize what you’re seeing/witnessing. I think it helps you too to title your shots, perhaps it evokes more thought from people. :)
