Happy Day 20!
Raise your hand—or, well, leave a comment—if you’ve managed to post every day this month so far!
And leave a comment if you’ve joined in on #TsDailyOctShare even once. You’re still welcome in this creative space, whether you’ve posted twenty times or only one.
This is my second late-in-the-day post this month, but it’s still a daily post nonetheless. I’m counting it!
We’ve made it two-thirds of the way through October, and I still have more ideas than I have days left in the month. Some of these projects will make their way into my final daily posts, while others will carry us through the remaining months of the year.
Here’s what’s still to come:
- Weathering – More images, an artist statement, and eventually the completed series.
- Canals – An introspective photographic series I haven’t formally introduced here yet.
- Watermelon – Another unannounced series, though this one is a bit more playful.
- Doll portraits – Along with a discussion about camera lenses and how they change the way we see our subjects.
- A life update, perhaps – Once things settle down a bit. There’s been quite a lot happening outside of photography.
- My junk journal and scrapbook – A look at some of the things I’ve been collecting, arranging, and making away from the camera.
- Mini museum journeys and other gallivanting
- More journeys into the unconscious – My research and experiments are far from finished. I’ll be continuing my explorations of:
- Patricia Garfield and creative dreaming
- Carl Jung
- Eugene Gendlin
- The Silva Method
- Technical Remote Viewing
- Salvador Dalí
- And, of course, the images that come out of these experiments.
I’m not entirely sure what order these will appear in. Some projects are further along than others, and some are still taking shape as I work through them. That’s part of the fun of keeping this blog, I suppose. I can follow an idea wherever it takes me and bring you along for the ride.
Twenty days down, eleven to go!
If you’ve been participating in #TsDailyOctShare, how’s it going? Have you found yourself making anything you wouldn’t have otherwise?
I’ve posted every day so far. I’ve enjoyed going through my files for images.
