Powell and Market? Rings a bell. Is this a Cable Car from San Francisco?
How interesting. I honestly have no idea. I picked it up for $1 at a flea market here in Florida a few weeks ago. But now I need to look into Powell and Market.
Powell and Market seems to be a loop / turnaround of the San Francisco Cable Cars (I was curious and had to check). One of my nicest memories of S.F. is of a cable car: They ring bells to warn pedestrians, and once there was this conductor who really made the bell groove with a funky rhythm. I thought that was quite cool!
That’s awesome. I have yet to visit San Francisco. But hopefully someday. I’ll have to bring my mini cable car with me.
