Water Abundant

Hurricane Irma recently made its way through our area. While the downtown area of Jacksonville got hit hard, specifically where we are was just fine. We lost power for about 12 hours, but obviously it could have been much worse. After the fact, with all the water around I decided to make some hurricane inspired imagery with miniatures. Here I like to think the love boats floated off from their storage space, lost in the current. The truck then is just that, a truck, driving through the surrounding flood. The irony here is that with such tiny props, I only needed the smallest puddle of water, so the storm provided much more than enough.

  1. We live near Melbourne and had a bit of flooding in the garden, but nothing made it close to getting inside. Glad you were fortunate, too.
