Weekly Photo Challenge: Change

I know you’ve seen images from this series before, but considering the series is called Change, I thought I would take this opportunity to discuss it further. I have lived in Jacksonville since my Freshman year of High school. That makes 8 years now. These past 8 years, more specifically these past 4 have been the most significant years of my life in terms of personal growth. My memories here and the experiences I’ve had have shaped me into who I am. This series, while never fully finished took figures, each representing me/ some aspect of myself (i.e. painters, photographers, readers/workers) and placed them in locations around Jacksonville that have been significant to me in some way (i.e. The Cummer Museum in which I volunteered for a few months and interned for nearly a year). I strove to fully explore Jacksonville’s effect on my life before I moved forward in my endeavors elsewhere.
